An Arabic commentary on the book of Proverbs.

ff. 1r-95vTitle: Commentary on ProverbsContains Exodus 13:17-15:1, 15:22-17:7, 18:1-21:36, 22:4-30:21, 30:33-32:29, 33:12-34:26. Pointed and accentuated Hebrew text, with a translation and short commentary in (Judeo-)Arabic.
An anonymous Arabic commentary on Proverbs, chapters 1:22-8:34, 24:28-25:11.
The Hebrew text is quoted in part and written in square characters.
There is an Arabix translation arranged in the following sections: chapter 2; 3:1-18; 3:19-35; 4:1-19; 4:20-27; 5; 6:1-5; 6:6-11; 6:12-19; 6:20-35; 7; 8:1-21; 8:22-36; 25:1-13. The beginning of each section is marked by the word נץ in the margin.
Scant masoretic notes.

Collation
10 quires, nos. 2-10, and folios 88-95, the numeration of which is uncertain.
Nos. 2, 10 and the last one are imperfect.
Signatures in Arabic words on the upper margin of the first folio, and the four following folios are numbered with Arabic numerals.
Condition
Imperfect at the beginning and at the end. Leaves missing after folios 8 and 87.
Folios 1, 2, 15, 53, 54, 62, 65, 71, 76, 79, 80, 88, 90, 91 are damaged.
Greater part of folio 87 is lost.
Many folios worm-eaten.
