The quasi-heraldic device at the beginning of the scroll is signed: "Salom. Italia sculpsit." The name of the original owner, which had been written on a blank space within the same design, has been erased, and a note of a later owner has been written down istead.

Below the design there is a date (in a recent hand), [5]629 (1869).

Copper-plate illustrations by Solomon Italia, inhabited, with architectural and floral designs.

Dimensions (leaf): 130/155 × 2690 mm.

Collation

5 membranes, with wooden roller.

Condition

Parchment slightly inflexible, with creases.

Uneven trimming at lower edge and, in part, losses of printing at head.

Dark at edges and outer end (dirt and slight damp mottling).

Usage and rust stains, a smear of green pigment on verso.

One small loss to rodent at outer end.

Ruling by hard point, membrane by membrane.

Visible stiching of membranes.

Hair side and flesh side of membranes distinguishable.

Three tagin on שעטנזגץ and one on בדהחיפף.

The names of the sons of Haman arranged in 11 lines, in accordance with the rule.
