A service book according to the Yemenite rite.

ff. 1r-249vTitle: SidurTitle: סדורThe text, including the books of Lamentation and Esther, is provided with the superlinear punctuation, with the exception of the biblical verse at the beginning of the Services, which has the sublinear punctuation.
The rules and directions are nearly all in Arabic in the Hebrew script.

Additions:Folio 1 and 249 contain portions of Leviticus XIV and XV, Hebrew text with Targum to each verse, both leaves are mutilated.
Folio 2 (vellum) contain Genesis 29:27-30:10, Hebrew text with Targum to each verse, both provided with the superlinear punctuation.

Se῾adyah ben Yehudah Al-Ladani: inscribed in the colophon, folio 248r.
Two records of birth, dated 1828 (1517) and 1833 (1522) respectively, in the main scribe's handwriting, folio 248r (below the colophon).
A record of transfer of the manuscript between the owners, Se῾adyah ben Yehudah Al-Ladani and Se῾adyah ben Mantsur Al-Ḥawidi, dated 1544, folio 248r.

Moses Wilhelm Shapira (b. 1830, d. 1884), antiquities dealer of Jerusalem: purchased by the British Library from him on 10 April 1880: inscribed, back flyleaf (i)v.
