The manuscript has a number of marginal notes and additions in Italian and other types of handwriting of various dates.
The volume appears to have been used in an Ashkenazi community in Italy.

Quire numbering in upper right corner; quires viii and ix are equally numbered as 8.
Parallel Hebrew foliation, which shows that the middle bifolio of quire viii is missing (folios 66-67).

11 quires: i10 (folios 1-10), ii8 (folios 11-18), iii8-1 (folios 19-26), iv8 (folios 27-34), v10 (folios 35-44), vi12-2 (folios 45-54), vii8 (folios 55-62), viii8-2 (folios 63-68), ix8 (folios 69-76), x8 (folios 77-84 ), xi6 (folios 85-90).

Ashkenazi square and semi-cursive script, partially punctuated, with a number of notes in Italian and other semi-cursive and cursive scripts. Ḥayim: the word ḥayim is decorated (e.g. folios 2v, 3v, 8r, 19v, 44r, 49r, 51v, 87v).
Additions:Folio 1r contain an imperfect list of poetical pieces, but not all the piyuṭim enumerated are contained in the present volume.
