ff. 1r-279rTitle: Tana"khTitle: תנ"ךFolios 1r-3v contain a masoretic text in Ashkenazi semi-cursive hand.
Folios 5v-271v: contain the Hebrew Bible in Ashkenazi square script. Text provided with full masoretic vocalization and accents, accompanied by the masorah magna and parva. The masorah magna occupies two lines at the top of the page and three or four at the bottom of the page. The number of verses is given only after some of the books. The number of Psalms is 170 (Ps. 119 being divided into 22 parts).
Pentateuch: 5v-72r.
Prophets: 72v-201v.
Hagiographa: 202r-271v.
Folios199v - 201r contain masoretic text in Ashkenazi semi-cursive, regarding differences between the Eastern and Western recensions in the books of Hagiographa, including the number of verses of the same book in each recension, the order of the books and pericopes.
Folios 272r-279r: contain masoretic lists concerning the letters of the alphabet, vowels and accents; the order of books and chapters.

Purchased by the British Museum from Quaritch in March1891, folio 279v; probablyBernard Alexander Christian Quaritch (b. 1819, d. 1899), bookseller and publisher. Erased inscriptions (presumable in Latin letters), folio 3v (in the lower margin), 5r (upper part).
