Summary of Contents: A collection of short discourses and notes on various passages of Scripture and other subjects, mostly (or entirely) by Mordekhai Dato (partly his autograph).

Among the contents are: commentaries on the Prophets, the prophecies of Yo'el ben Uzi'el, a list of expenses incurred on a journey to Ferrara, short discourses in Italian, a fragmentary sketch of Mafteaḥ ha-Zohar, a homily on marriage in Italian and Hebrew, commentaries on the prophecy, sacrifices, providence, prayer, etc.

Several folios slightly mutilated.

Slightly stained.

Giuseppe Almanzi (b. 1801, d. 1860), Italian bibliophile: his manuscript no. 118: inscribed, back flyleaf (ii)v; 322 Hebrew manuscripts were acquired from his library in October 1865 through Asher & Co., Berlin dealer to the British Museum 1841-1853.
