According to Bezalel Narkiss, the codex was produced in Bologna, and the style of its illumination is similar to the school of Niccolo di Giacomo da Bologna ( [Narkiss_1984] 58).

Metzger argues that the manuscript was written in Rimini ( [Ebenbauer_1991] 141-142).
