Agrees with "Biblia en lengua Espanola" (Amsterdam, 1726).

The separate strip contains a Spanish translation of the benedictions used at the ritual reading of the book on the feast of Purim.

Dimensions (leaf): 215/400 × 5450 mm.

Collation

7 membranes, with wooden roller.

Condition

Dirt at edges.

Mould-spotting where parchment lies against roller at inner end.

A few usage stains.

Slight burn-through of ink in a few places.

Small splits in silk tie.

Ruling by hard point, membrane by membrane.

Larger initial words.

Most of outermost membrane backed with olive silk, sewn at edges, with ties.
