The beginning of the weekly portions were marked by ؤاراش (i.e. 'פרש) in the margin - this mark is preserved only in a few instances, folio 49r, 171r.
Numbers of verses at the end of sections indicated by Arabic letters. Number of verses in each of the books of the Torah given in Arabic transcription of the Hebrew rubrics.
