Folios 72r-73v contain chapter 31:40-53 and chapter 9:25-10:15; the former is stylistically related to the rest of the manuscript, the latter has a style of its own; both these leaves have the targum and Arabic translation after each verse like the rest of the manuscript, but the contents are duplicates of parts contained in folios 1r-71v.
Fragments of Genesis, each verse being followed by the Targum of Onḳelos and Sa'adia's Arabic translation in the Hebrew characters.
Text and Targum have the simple superlinear punctuation.

Hard to establish since many folios/quires are missing. Extant quires are mostly of 6 leaves.

Many pages mutilated, especially folios 1-11.

Moses Wilhelm Shapira (b. 1830, d. 1884), an antiquities dealer of Jerusalem: purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 January 1884: inscribed, back flyleaf (ii)v.
