Lacuna after f. 3 (4 leaves are missing according to the Hebrew foliation), after f. 4 (3 leaves are missing according to Hebrew foliation), after f. 7 (1 leaf is missing according the Hebrew foliation).
Includes sections written in an occult alphabet (ff. 1v and 4r).
Incomplete at the beginning and at the end.

Parallel Hebrew foliation in ink; f. 1 = f. ג; that is at least 2 leaves are missing from the beginning.
Collation
A single quire of 10-1 leaves.
Catchword on every verso.
Collation is strenghtened with modern strips of paper; 8 stubs are visible on each side.
Condition
Usage stains, smudged ink.
Most of the leaves had to be fixed.
Burnt hole on f. 1.
Layout
Columns:1
Number of lines per page varies: 22-24 lines per page.
Lines are not very straight, perhaps due to lack of ruling.

Sefardi semi-cursive script of the 16th century.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 727: inscribed with his name on f. 1r; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; 3 December 1929.
