The beginning of each pericope is marked in the margin by a large ornamental letter samekh.
Each pericope is divided into 7 subsections, numbered in Hebrew letters in the margin.
The masorah magna occupies 3 to 5 lines in the upper and 3 to 6 lines in the lower margin.
Numerous masoretic rubrics at the end of each book of the Torah, as well as at the end of the whole Pentateuch.
