ff. 1r-213vTitle: SidurTitle: סדורThe text is provided with the superlinear punctuation, with the exceptions of the book of Lamentations and the biblical verse at the head of the services, which have the ordinary punctuation.
References are found in the margin to e.g. Shulḥan Arukh, David ibn Abudraham, Sharira, Natronai, Sar Shalom, Radaḳ, Amram Gaon. There are explanations of a number of difficult words in Arabic. In some cases the reading of the text is marked as 'ha-nusḥah ha-nekhonah' or 'ha-nuskḥah ha-meduyeḳet' (folio 99r, 150v, 157v).

Accompanying Material
Appended to the manuscript are the following fragments, originally portions of other manuscripts: folios 195r, 204v - Azharot of Solomon ibn Gabirol, followed by a series of hosh῾anot; folios 205r-211r - Keter malkhut of Solomon ibn Gabirol; folios 211v-212v - two poetical pieces; folio 213 - a calendar leaf on the years 5492-5505 (1732-1745). The first three parts belong most probably to the 17th century.
Folios 44-45, which originally belonged to another manuscript, are now bound with the present manuscript just before shaḥarit of Rosh ha-Shanah. This fragment is also of 17th century. Folio 44r has a note, in a fading ink, of a viduy after the passing of Rabi Yehudah Zeruvavel.

Folio 1r: a note of a former owner, Yosef Ben Shalom ben Yesha῾, written over an erasure originally occupied by another name.

Moses Wilhelm Shapira (b. 1830, d. 1884), a antiquities dealer of Jerusalem: purchased by the British Museum from him on 23 July 1881: inscribed, folio [214v].
