32 quires: i (ff.1-3), ii-vii10, viii10+1, ix-xvi10, xvii10+1, xviii-xxiv10, xxv14-3, xxvi-xxxi10, xxxii10-1.
Quire xvi: the leaf between current ff. 152 and 153 has been cut off, only stud remained (modern paper has been added to the stud). Quire xvii: most of f. 154 has been torn out (modern paper added to the remains).
Condition
Usage stains, slight iron gall ink corrosion.
Erased marginal note on f. 152v.
Several leaves have been fixed (e.g. ff. 1-4).

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 761; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 14 February 1929.
