Covers the years 5527-5531. The sections on year 5531 seem to have been added later.

Giving the years and months both according to the Hebrew and the Gregorian calendar (until Siṿan 1771).

Marginal notes in Yiddish mention among others: Siskind Ḳopenhagen (f. 1r) and Berlin (f. 26v).

A list of names on f. 36v on a separate paper slip glued to the leaf. It lists among others: ראלי בן מיכל, אישק חילסיי, יהושע בן יעקב, הילל חתן [...], חיי[ם] בן זלמן, יאקב בן סענדר, הירץ צרה, שלומה קירנשר.

Provenance and Acquisition

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 138; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 21 September 1927.
