Collection of 100 uncaptioned film negatives, showing European family and social scenes, river views (including river steamers and local craft) and unidentified engineering/construction work (cable laying?).
The only clue as to the original owner of these negatives is contained in a number of negatives showing a large crate, presumably containing household baggage, being shifted. This is stamped, G. N. Carroll. Care of Xen Sidhrganj, Narainganj via Chittagong, East Pakistan. Carroll was possibly the photographer or compiler of this collection and may have been employed with one of the jute or other industrial concerns at Siddhirganj on the Shitalakshya River in then East Pakistan.
