Includes: from the middle of the prayers of the second day of Sukot to the end of the prayers of Śimḥat Torah.

According to the Catalogue of Hebrew Manuscripts in the Gaster Collection (see source), it is according to the rite of Corfu.

At the end of the manuscript is the prayer ברוך שאמר (Barukh she-ʾamar), by a different hand.

Incomplete at the beginning.

Provenance and Acquisition

Inscription by the owner in Italian in pencil on back flyleaf (ii)v: 'Perciò capitando lo steso dele mani onorati di quache S.re Si compiacera ristituirlo al qui sostoscrito e li sara dato di bona mano. [...]: - Samoel'.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 160; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 24 September 1927.
