Collation
27 quires of 2 folios. The first quire includes front flyleaf (iii).
Condition
A few usage stains, collation is a bit cracked.

Hair and flesh side are distinguishable.
Ruling is visible.
From ff. 4v-5r, every second opening is blank.
From f. 4v: text in 4 lines, in one column.

Decoration
Decorated title page (f. 1r).
Additions:F. 52r: a prayer to be recited after the counting of the Omer: תפילה לאחר הספירה. Written in cursive Italian Hebrew script.
Binding
Post-1600, brown leather binding, golden-tooled, with printed paper pastedowns. and pull-off green leather box, blind-tooled. (Images of the box are called back flyleaves (iii)-(v) in the image viewer). Boxed.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 724; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 29 November 1929.
