Catchword on every verso; signatures in Hebrew characters at the end and beginning of the quires (first signature on f. 10v, last signature on f. 35r.

Some leaves have been fixed.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 507: inscribed with his name on ff. 1r, 48v, 49v, 57v; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 30 August 1928.
