According to the title and colophon in volume 1 (f. 10r), it is the second part of the Seder of the three festivals and of the high holidays, arranged according to Isaac Luria’s (ha-Ari's) mystical intentions (kaṿanot).

Serious iron gall ink corrosion; corrosion caused numerous holes, parts are missing (e.g. f. 240).

Origin: 1737Provenance and Acquisition
Volume 1, f. 1r: comment written in in 1792/3 (AM 5543) in Egypt, which mentions the gabai (manager of a synagogue) Hayim Yosef, and the Rabbis Shabtai and Refaʾel.
Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 31; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 13 August 1927.
