Collation

Quires of mostly 10 leaves.

Signatures in Eastern Arabic numerals at the end and beginning of the quires in ink. However, it seems that current collation does not conincide totally with the signatures (due to tight binding it is hard to see the quires in ff. 1-30).

Ff. 52-60 are upside down.

No catchwords.

Condition

Usage stains, liquid damage.

Some quires have been reinforced.

Oriental flap-binding, brown leather, blind-tooled. Arabic inscription on the front cover in ink. Boxed.

Title on spine: 'Liber Numeri. Samaritan. Brit. Mus. Jure Empt. 19,016.'
