Collation
4 quires of 10 leaves (ff. 2-41).
Ff. 1 and 42 are later additions.
Signatures in Eastern Arabic numerals at the end and beginning of quires. Signatures: 6 (ff. 2-11), 7 (ff. 12-21), (ff. 22-31). Signature on f. 31v announcing the quire to follow is 9, but signature on f. 41v announcing the quire to follow is 11: one quire is missing from in between.
Signatures suggest that 5 quires are missing from the beginning.
Condition
Usage stains, water damage.
Paper slip containing information about the treatment of the MS is glued onto front flyleaf (ii)r.

Samaritan majuscule script of the 19th century. Scribe: Salama b. Tabya b. Isaac(?): M. Gaster's note on f. 1r: 'This copy reputed to have been written by Tabyah H. Priest father of Shalma, of Amram of Ishaq XVIII cent.' Crown: "on examination of the script it looks more like that of the son, Salama, and the manuscripts must then be dated to c. 1812-1813'.
