Written for the yeshiva Tsel Shadai in Ancona, by Yaʿaḳov ben Matsliaḥ.

According to the title page, it is based on a cabbalistic treatise called Ḥemdat yamim.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 485; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; 9 August 1928. Stamp of the India Office Library on back flyleaf (iv)v: 'India Office Library OIC 1847 Microfilm'.
