M. Gaster's label on front pastedown: 'Presented to me by Mr. S. Levy of Corfu (Secertary Spa.&Port. Congregation Manchester) 1 Novb 910 M. Gaster'.
Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 1409; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; 8 February 1932.
