16 quires: i-xv8, xvi10.

No catchwords; signature in Hebrew characters at the end of most quires (except quire ii, but that may have been cut off during rebinding). There is also a signature at the beginning of each quire in smaller characters (some of these signatures seem to be imprinted onto the facing page, in some cases the signature itself seems to be lifted and transferred to the facing page - perhaps due to water damage, cf. first word on f. 1r).

Condition

Usage stains, iron gall ink corrosion, water damage.

A few holes in the parchment (ff. 14, 89).

The MS once belonged to Carol de Pradel, bishop of Montpellier, 1676-1696; see ownership inscription on back flyleaf (iii)v: 'ex libris Biblioteca D. D. Caroli De Pradel epis[co]pi Montpe.'

Erased note on f. 1r.

Acquisition note on back flyleaf (iv)v: 'Presented by Inter Allied Book Centre, 14 Dec. 1945'. Date of accession: 22 December 1945.
