8 quires of 10 leaves. Quire i includes front flyleaf (iii), and quire viii includes back flyleaves (i)-(iii).

Condition
A few usage stains.
Outer lower corner of f. 10 has been cut off.

Ff. 1r-3r: certain words are underlines in red ink, and the same hand added marginal notes in the same red ink.
Some corrections and notes in the margins, some by the scribe (e.g. ff. 10v, 27v, 46v).

Italian Hebrew semi-cursive script of the 15th century. May have been written by the same scribe as [BL] Or 11793.

Post-1600, brown leather binding; gold-tooled with the coat of arms of Jacques Nicolas Colbert, the Archbishop of Rouen (1654-1707) in the centre.

According to the Catalogue of Hebrew Manuscripts in the Gaster Collection, it was acquired by gift from the Inter-Allied Book-Centre, April, 1946; date of accession 30 July 1946: inscribed by J. Leeven on back flyleaf (i)r.
