4 unfoliated blank leaves after f. 45.
Collation
6 quires of 10 leaves. Quire i includes front flyleaf (iv), quire vi includes back flyleaves (i)-(v).
Catchword at the end of the quires (except quire v and vi).

Italian Hebrew semi-cursive scripts of the 15th century. May have been written by the same scribe as [BL] Or 11792.
Additions:Two lines have been erased on f. 45dr (fourth unfoliated blank leaf after f.45).
Binding
Post-1600, brown leather binding; gold-tooled with the coat of arms of Jacques Nicolas Colbert, the Archbishop of Rouen (1654-1707) in the centre.
Title on spine: 'Sithrē Thōāh. Joseph Giḳatilla. Hebrew. Brit. Mus. Oriental 11,793.'

The MS once belonged to Carol de Pradel, bishop of Montpellier, 1676-1696; see ownership inscription on the remains of a leaf fixed onto the back pastedown: 'ex libris Biblioteca D. D. Caroli De Pradel ep｢i｣s[co]pi Montisp[...]. D. Ev. Ap. 10, 1780, From T.P. by S.H. Iun.
Old catalogue number(?) on f. 1r: '3726'
According to the Catalogue of Hebrew Manuscripts in the Gaster Collection, it was acquired by gift from the Inter-Allied Book-Centre, April, 1946; date of accession 30 July 1946: inscribed by J. Leeven on back flyleaf (i)r.
