Provenance and Acquisition

Two small paper slips fixed onto the back pastedown, with the inscription: 'Lady Judith Montefiore College, Ramsgate'.

Stamp of the India Office Library (OIC 1262) on back flyleaf (iii)v.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 723; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 6 July 1927.
