Revenue records, in Persian with raqam annotation, containing details of Jagirdars for the province of the Panjab (91 ff), followed by an alphabetic list of the names of tenants in possession of private jagirs or landholdings in the province of Avadh (44 ff).

Annotations in English throughout.

Partially foliated in Persian; estimated 135 folios (91 + 44) approximately.

Not dated and lacking colophon.

Oval seals of James Grant at beginning and end dated 1193 in the Bengali era (1786/7): Jams Grānt ṣadr-i sarishtah'dār (sic) va mulāḥiẓ-i kull dafātir az ṭaraf-i dīvān-i ṣūbah'jāt-i Bangālah va Bihār va ghayrah, madār al-mahām sipah sālār-i Angrīz Kampanī, sannah 1193 Bangalah.
