Language(s): PersianMaʻārif (معارف), a miscellany by Aḥmad Rūmī (fl.c. 700/1299) on religious subjects in prose and verse. Divided into 40 chapters it is similar in style to his Daqāʼiq al-ḥaqāʼiq (Delhi Persian 991) and consists mostly of mystical interpretations of passages from the Qurʼan and Hadith.
135 ff.; 21 lines to a page; neat nastaʻliq; rubrications; slightly worm-eaten and water-stained.
Dated at Mashhad, 12 Rabiʻ I 995 (20 Feb. 1587).
