M. Gaster's note on front flyleaf (i)r: מתנה מאת הגביר כמ"ר יצחק חסאן נרו ביום ... תורה שנת מ'ב'ו'ר'כ'ת' הצעיר משה גאסטער. M. Gaster received the manuscript as a gift from R. Yitsḥaḳ Ḥasan.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 932; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 22 April 1930.
