Provenance and Acquisition

Ownership inscription(?) on f. 1r: '... כמורהר"ר ברלין'.

Ownership inscription(?) on f. 34v: 'זה הספר שלי וזה שמי יצחק מינדיש בליזאריו'.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 175; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 30 January 1928.
