Origin: 1540-1541 France (Provence)Provenance and Acquisition
At the end of the piyuṭ on f. 220v: לי אני יהושע קשלארי, perhaps the name of the owner who added the piyuṭ.
Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 736; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 4 December 1929.
