Ff. 1 and 2 are later addition (different paper, different hand). Ff. 1r-2r: poem composed by Avraham Barukh Piperno for the synagogue in Livorno in 5615 (1854/5): שיר חדש אשר חבר החכם אברהם ברוך פיפירנו הי"ו לשיר בבית הכנסת הגדולה לוורנו יע"א להודות לה' אשר הצילנו מכל רע ומכל חולי שנת ה'ר'ח'ב'ת' לי.

Acquisition note on back flyleaf (i)v: 'Bought of Dr. I. Sonne. 3 June, 1925.' I. Sonne is probably identical with Isaiah Sonne (1877-1960). Date of accession 13 June 1925.
