አርባዕቱ ወንጌል The four Gospels
f. 2v, A deed of gift of Takla Haimanot II, Gerum Sagad, ግሩም፡ ሰገድ፡ and the queen-mother 'Abala Maryam, to the church of S. John the Evangelist, ቅዱስ፡ ዮሐንስ፡ ወልደ፡ ነጐድጓድ፡ እንተ፡ ይእተ፡ ደብረ፡ ተድላ። This has the seal of the 'Abuna losaph or Yosab, ዮሳብ. " the poor losaph the metropolitan."

However the British Library recognises broader interests in the cultural heritage which the Ethiopian manuscripts represent.
