Letters to Sir Thomas Rumbold as Governor of Madras between 1778 and 1779 from Warren Hastings, Governor General of Bengal; Edward Vernon, Commander in Chief in the East Indies; Hector Munro, Commander in Chief, Madras; Guillaume de Bellecombe, French Governor at Pondicherry; Colonel des Auvergnes, Brigadier of the French Garrison at Pondicherry; James Holland; and Paul Benfield, financier.
