A tract on Hasidic philosophy.

The tract was first printed in 1796, Slavuta. This manuscript predates the printed edition.
Title page on f. 2r: ספר קיצור ליקוטי אמרים מלוקט מפי סופרים וספרים להבין מעט מזעיר מה שכתוב כי קרוב אליך הדבר מאוד וגומר איך הוא קרוב בדרך ארוכה וקצרה בעזרת השם ית.
Written by the same hand on ff. 31v-32r: "A letter from my master and teacher". This letter was printed, with a few variations, as the introduction of the book Ha-Tanya.
Ff. 32v-42v: chapters 40-48 written in cursive Ashkenazi script.
