Includes prayers and eulogies for funerals, baḳashot and piyutim by, among others, Yaḥya al-Dhahiri (יחיא אלצ'אהרי) and by Shalem Shabazi in Hebrew and in Arabic, a prayer copied from the Tana Deve Eliyahu, a prayer which is recited at the Western Wall, prayers to recite over graves and Tiḳun for nocturnal emission.

Also includes an excerpt from Psalms 31 (f. 18r), rules of biblical accents (ff. 19v-20v).

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 288; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 24 February 1928.
