Origin: 1779-1820Provenance and Acquisition
Ff. 1v and 8v-9r are lists of deceased persons, from between the years 5543-5548 (from 1773 to 1787).
Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 1341; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 15 January 1932.
