Author mentions his journeys, for instance "I travelled from Venice" (מויניציאה נסעתי (f. 4r).

Cryptic alphabet on f. 18v: אלף בית של מטטרון שר הפנים.
According to the introduction, written by the author, the text is a compilation of charms, an amulet, and invocations (השבעות). F. 3v, lines 5-6: it says that the author learned about these from Yehudah Elkabetz (יהודה אלקבץ).
F. 43v, siman 109: Mentions "that is what I was told, and what I heard, from Leon of Ustiliah (זה הוגד לי ושמעתי ממי’ ליאון דאוסטילה); f. 45r, siman 116: charms made of snakeskin from Shelomoh ha-Rofe of Toledo (סגולות מעור הנחש דברי שלמה הרופא מטוליטול).
