f. 4r. A hymn to the holy Cross, beginning, ናሁ፡ ወጠንኩ፡ ስብሐተ፡ መስቀል፡ ቅዱስ፡ እንዘ፡ ተማኅፅኖ፡ አጸንዕ፡ በቅንዋቲሁ፡ ኃምስ፡ አንተ፡ ውእቱ፡ እግዚአ፡ አእምሮ፡ ሐዲስ፡ ምላእ፡ ውስተ፡ ልብየ፡ ኦክርስቶስ፡ ውእተ፡ አእምሮ፡ ዘየኀድር፡ በርእስ።

An enumeration of the books, biblical and other, which the author used in composing this psalter ; viz. the Pentateuch, Judges, Joshua, Kufdle or " Parva Genesis," Enoch, Job, the 4 books of Kings, Psalms, Proverbs, Wisdom, Ecclesiastes, the Song of Songs, Sirach, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Ezra, Maccabees, the Vision of Elijah and the 12 Minor Prophets; the 4 Gospels, the introduction to the Pauline Epistles, the Epistles of SS. Paul, James, Peter and John, the Acts the Eevelation of S. John the Sinodos, Didascalia, Klddn, and Clement ; Basil, Athanasius, ሃማኖተ፡አበው " the Faith of the Fathers”, John Chrysostom, the book of the 318 orthodox Pathers (of Nicsea), a Chronicle the Fetha Nagast , Gregory (Nazianzen), Epiphanius, Jacob Baradaeus, the Mashafa Bahn or "book of the Pearl”, the Synaxarium, Ephraim Syrus, Jacob of Serug, discourses of Abba Benjamin and Abba Cyriacus. Severus of 'Esmunain, the ” Aragawi Manfasawi, Philoxenus, and the Miracles of Jesus, Gorionides, the Philosophers, Kalila and Dimna, the Physiologus, Barlaam, History of the Eathers, the Miracles of the blessed Virgin Mary, Mashafa Mesfir, and Hexaemeron.

Subscription, ተፈጸመ፡ ጽሕፈተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ መጽሐፍ፡ አመ፡ ፲ወ፱፡ ዓመተ፡ መንግሥቱ፡ ለመፍቀሬ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ንጉሥነ፡ ሱስን ዮስ፡ በ፸፡ ፻ወ፸፡ ወ፷፡ ፻ወ፺ወ፫፡ እምዓመተ፡ እስክንድር፡ መቄደናዊ። ወእምዓመተ፡ ሰማዕታት፡ በ፲ ፻ወ፪፡ ፺ወ፰፡ ዓመት። ወበ፺ ፻ወ፺፡ እምዓመተ፡ አጋር። The name of Susenyos (A.D. 1607—32) is evidently a later insertion, for the 19th yearof his reign was A.D. 1626, whereas the dates given point to A.D. 1582, which was the 19th year of his predecessor Sarza Dengel(A.D. 1563—97).
f. 13r. መዝሙረ፡ ክርስቶስ " Psalter of Christ," an adaptation of the book of Psalms. It consists of 151 hymns that correspond to the 151 psalms of David, plus two additional hymns, one as introduction and one as a conclusion.
f. 150r. Hymn to the angel Gabriel.
f. 153r. Salutations to the Saints and Martyrs, for each day of the year.f. 185r. the Mashafa Nuzaze, or form of Confession, of the Synod of the Apostles.f. 185v. An extract, in a later hand, regarding the confusion of tongues and the dispersion of languages.
ff. 1r-3v. contain a short history of the Oromo people, in an old hand, beginning, ወጠንኩ፡ እጽሕፍ፡ ዜናሁ፡ ለጋላ፡
