The work was composed in 1748/9. The colophon on title page (f. 1ar) gives the date of the production of the manuscript incorrectly as Adar Sheni 437 (1677). The correct date is given in the colophon at the end of the manuscript (f. 63r): Adar Sheni 537 (1777).
This copy was written for a woman Gimkhe, wife of R. Getshlig.
