With supplements in the margins from various sources, among which: from Isaac Luria (f. 2r: בוקר רבי יצחק אברבניל בפירוש ישעיה וירמיה ... ), and from the book Toldot Yeshu (f. 3v).

Ibn Yaḥya, Gedaliah ben Joseph's Shalshelet ha-ḳabalah is mentioned on f. 4r: גם זה מצאתי שם בשלשלת הקבלה דף ששה וארבעים עמוד ראשון ... ; which refers to the Venice edition of 1587.

Shelomoh Molcho is mentioned e.g. on f. 2r: [ש]מעתי על שם רבי שלמה מלכו.

Provenance and Acquisition

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 1418; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 11 February 1932.
