In the manuscript: a critique of "Aharon, the head of the court of Poznan", who opposed Maimonides' Moreh Nevokhim and the study of "external wisdoms" (secular sciences): אם איש כזה ראוי להיות אב ב"ד במדינה בזאת גנאי גדול הוא לכל בני המדינה (f. 8r); ואני מזכור קצת מהם כדי שידעי הכל סכלותו ... בתוך דבריו כיון שנדפס המורה נבוכי' בויניציא מיד בעון זה נגזרה הגזירה ונשרפו כל ספרי התלמוד ברוב איטליא ... (f. 8v); ותמהו על דברי סכלותו ונבלותו הלזה יקרא מהר"ר אהרן אב ב"ד במדינת פוזנא (f. 8v).
The date 5319 is mentioned on f. 2r: ולא כמו שדרש החמור הגדול חותן הסכל הנ"ל בשבת הגדול שנת שי"ט.
