Ownership inscriptions on f. 1r: 'Isaac Serra'; 'M. Gaster'; the latter is written over an erased inscription.
Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 945; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 9 May 1930.
