ff. 1r-34vTitle: פנקסTitle: PinḳasThe name of the author is not given, but he appears to have been an inhabitant of Ragusa, and lived in the latter half of the 18th century. NLI catalogue attributes it to Jacob Pardo.
A major part of it are novellae and homilies on the Torah.
F. 23v: A few charms and medicines he learned about while being at Mantova.
From f. 23v onwards: on the printing of his father's, David Pardo's book, Sefer Ḥasdi le-Daṿid, including lists of books he planned to send as a gift to various persons, among them are the commentator Rabbi Yaʿakov Nunez Weis and the rabbi's who gave their approbations (haskamot) to the book. He also mentions Mosheh Hai Malul (f. 25r) who was the editor of the book.
On ff 28r-29v: descriptions of his journeys, which began and ended in Raguza, of the various Rabbis he met, of his financial outcomes etc. He began his journeys in 9 Ḥeshṿan 5535, that is 1774. F. 28r: בתישע לחדש חשון ש' תחל ש'נה ובר'כ'ותי'ה' ליצירה יצאתי מעיר רגוזא
He writes of financial debts and of books he wanted to sell or to give away, and mentions, among others, "Rabbi Amram Divon who is the emissary of Hebron" (f. 33v).
In several places in the composition are lists of books, printed texts and manuscripts (f. 3v, etc.).
