Provenance and Acquisition

Ownership inscription by Aharon Shalosh: שלי אני תלמיד... אהרן שלוש ... (f. 2r), הצעיר אהרן שלוש (f. 112v).

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 693; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 8 October 1929.
