Language(s): Persian, Arabic, PashtuTrilingual vocabulary of Persian, Pashto, and Urdu, endorsed at the beginning and the colophon as Āmad nāmah-'i Afghānī, compiled in 1225/1810 by Muḥammad Irtiz̤āʾ Khān ibn Navvāb Amān Khān ʿUmar Khayl, with the intention of disseminating wider knowledge of Pashto.
The work is organised under a hundred and sixty-six sections termed faṣl.
Dated colophon (f. 332v): completed by Bānkī (Bānke) Rāy written at the order of Asadūlah[sic](Asad Allāh) Mumtāz al-Mulk Fayz̤ Muḥammad Khān Bahādur Hizibrjang, morning, 9 Rabīʿ al-Avval in RY 10 [of Emperor Akbar Shāh II] (1231)/8 February 1816.
The work is transcribed using an irregular combination of archaic and modern orthography for Urdu/Hindi.
