According to the note at the beginning it is based on the Saloniki printed edition 5327 (1566/7), with an introduction by the publisher Isaac ben Moses Ibn Aryo (http://www.hebrewbooks.org/45023): זה לשון המביא את הספר ההוא לבית הדפוס בהקדמתו (f. 1v). Not the entire work, only extracts(?).

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 420; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 26 March 1928.
