There are many additional passages in the margins, headed 'perush' or 'hagahah', etc. consisting mainly of extracts from Talmud, midrash and codes.
Incomplete at the end.
Gaster number is given incorrectly as '1008' on f. 1r. The content of the manuscript corresponds the description of no. 1009 (Gaster 1008 is Or 9945).

According to M. Gaster's handlist it was 'bought of Miss Lowy'. See also no. 1008 in Gaster's handlist: 'the whole from library of Dr A. Lowy (bought of Miss Lowy)'.
Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 1009; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 28 September 1931.
